Four-story 165,000 square foot commercial office building, 70%
owner occupied, and 30% tenant occupie
The challenge:
Retrofit a 165,000 square foot office
building with state-of-the-art Building Automation Controls
Phase and coordinate installation for
this fast track project, while keeping the existing systems
on line.
AMA Engineering, LLC, was the consulting engineering firm hired
to specify the BAS system, Advanced Control Solutions worked
with AMA to engineer solutions and design this project.
Advanced Control Solutions, was the controls
contractor hired to install Teletrol’ s building automation
system
The solution:
Design a VAV system consisting of 70
Teletrol I-VAV controllers and 13 Trane roof tops units
Design and program a seamless direct
digital interface with Trane roof top equipment.
Design and interface to the existing
perimeter hot water base board radiation.
Design an interface to monitor and alarm
their critical I.T. Server Rooms.
Design and program their tenant overtime
requests and billing.
Design and program user-friendly robust
graphical interface.
All of the above was to be performed while keeping the existing
tenants on line with no disruption.
