building. Owner occupied, multi zone H.V.A.C. system.
The challenge:
New construction 190,000 square foot
office building with state-of-the-art Building Automation Controls.
Phase and coordinate installation for
this fast track project.
Allow flexibility in the system to accommodate
multi-user system access.
Allow flexibility and expandability
for future needs.
Obtain substantial rebates form the
local utility, LIPA, on behalf of the owner.
Advance Control Solutions was hired to specify
the BAS system, and worked closely with the HVAC contractor,
First Data and the General Contractor to value engineer and
design with solutions for this project.
Advanced Control Solutions was the controls
contractor hired to install the building automations system
The solution:
Design a Honeywell Xl5000 building automation
control system.
Design a LON network for VAV / FPMB
system consisting of 109 Honeywell VAV controllers.
Interface to Trane Voyager and Intellapak
rooftops units.
Design and interface to control the
H.W. boiler plant and related pumps serving the perimeter FPMB.
Create and design fail safe building
operation under emergency generator power.
